Next time you're in the library, visit our Book Store
Browse gently used books, DVDs, CDs and more
The Friends established and operates the Book Store at the Folsom Library. Stop in and browse next time you're here – we're off the hallway next to the Einstein Cafe. You'll find thousands of gently used books of every type and genre as well as DVDs, Blu-Ray, CDs, comic books and audio books, plus handmade greeting cards and other occasional miscellaneous items – all at unbelievably low prices.
Best of all: Your purchases benefit the Folsom Library. Along with our three annual book sales, the Book Store is a primary source of Friends' revenue. The money we raise enables the library to offer its wide array of wonderful free programs and services for people of all ages in our community. Our workers are volunteers, and our sale items are all donated.
The Book Store is open Tues-Sat 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday noon to 4 p.m., closed Monday and library holidays. We refresh our stock daily, so there's always something new to find. And if you want a special title, let us know and we'll keep an eye out for it.
We accept donations any time during business hours. If you have a large number of books, or several bags or boxes full, please contact us for a direct pickup. Call Book Store manager Ken Anderson at 916-752-7813 or 916-608-8743 or the Book Store at 916-608-8743.
The Friends is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
